Open to all with NSA Bethesda BASE ACCESS

Participating in this event does not give you access to the Fitness Center Facilities. To access the Fitness Center you must be a MWR eligeble patron.


Come complete the MWR Iron Challenge!

Participants have 3 months to complete all the components of the Iron Challange. Components can be completed in any order and broken up how ever you would like. The Iron Challenge consists of the following:

2.4 Mile Swim

112 Mile Bike Ride

26.2 Mile Run

Swim, Bike and Run at the Fitness Center or take the fun outside, just log your miles in the binder at the front desk.

If modifications are needed for the components please contact the Fitness Coordinators for assistance at 301-295-0031.


To close out the MWR Iron Challenge the Fitness Center will be hosting a Sprint Triathlon Saturday September 30th. So come out and challenge yourself and test your speed. Space is limited for the Triathlon and a separate sign-up is necessary to participate.
